Among the green mountains of the Black Sea, a story stretching from tea gardens to tournament podiums. Pickleball is growing here with Hemşin's athletes.
It all began during a summer holiday. Coaches who met the children of tea-picking families introduced them to pickleball with paddles, balls and nets brought from the United States.
Thanks to a new court opened with the District Governor's support, a squad returning from tournaments with medals emerged in just one year.
